I'd like to start writing TinyMCE tutorials on TinymceSupport.com for developers and newbies. I'm not sure what topics to cover, though.
What tutorials would you like to see?
- What stumbling blocks have you seen people face when starting out with TinyMCE itself or WYSIWYG + TinyMCE?
- What platforms would you like TinyMCE to be tested on, and perhaps compared to against other editors?
- What kind of performance tests would you like to see?
- What tutorials do you wish you could just point to when the same specific support request is filed in the WYSIWYG issue queue?
Thanks!

is this still a consideration
is this still a consideration or have you already done it? would love to know more... (sorry if I've missed more recent posts about this)

Like the poster above, I just saw your original post. I would like to see tutorials on inserting images.
For example, I used Wysiwyg and Tiny MCE recently on a site, along with the Insert module. I was hoping to make it easier for my client to add images.
I liked the combination, but couldn't figure out how to configure things to get a relative path for the inserted image. In this case I was working on a site under development on a sub-domain. Unfortunately the images I inserted this way had an absolute path, and so didn't work when I migrated the site to the full domain.
WYSIWYG Instructions Simple
We need installation instructions that people can easily follow. Many of them are so complex that it is easy to make a mistake somewhere along the setup and it simply will not work, as in my case.
People ask "what did you do wrong" and if I knew I would correct it.
All I do know is that I have tried a half-dozen times to install WYSIWYG resulting in failures.
If you have a straightforward method I would love to see it for Drupal 7.
thanks

WYSIWYG editor installation issues
I have WYSIWYG module installed. I am working from a remote workstation.
When I try to configure WYSIWYG in admin/config/content/wysiwyg it shows no editors installed and a list of downloadable editors. If I click the download button, it downloads the file to my local machine, not to the server. The instructions say not to put files in the /sites/all/libraries directory by hand and I can confirm that does not work.
If I try to load the download from the add module page, I get an error no .info file present. The one exception is the CKEditor which will load as a module and which then works ok. I can't install any of the other editors.
I would like to have the textbox.io editor, which purports to have a Drupal setup, but that too fails to install.
Any ideas welcome.
