I'll be in the Nagoya/Gifu area from August 4th-16th. I see a lot of Druapl activity in Kanto and Kansai, but little mention of central Honshu. Anyone in the Nagoya area? I'd like to meet anyone in that area, at least once while I'm there.
I live in Houston and I'm normally part of the HDUG there. Maybe we could build some sort of bridge?
My Japanese is almost non-existant (but I DO speak intermediate conversational Mandarin Chinese and I can read/write 漢字), but I've got Kotoba on my iPhone (which I JUST used to look up "質問"), so if you're willing to meet, I am.

D'oh. I live in Okazaki, a bit southeast of Nagoya… Missed this since I haven't visited g.d.o in a while. Guess I need to get in the habit of visiting more often again…

Well, I'm already back from Japan. I've been through Okazaki. I went to Toyota City in 2009 and I had to switch to the Aichi Loop Line at 岡崎駅.

I've been trying to figure out some more info, but there's not a lot to find. http://www.tokyohackerspace.org/ looks like it does some really cool stuff (and has a site built in Drupal!), so I'm hoping it'll be similar.
