<CGMonroe> I'll start with one I've suggested before: A Quick Review of Modules for non-Programmers
<jhibbets> I would like to start off by saying that I think we had a good turnout and 2 awesome topics last month
<CGMonroe> (AKA Modules for Dummies?)
<CGMonroe> Ditto!!!
<paulthed> yes, I agree. Views and Theming were 2 good topics. Presenters did a great job too

<jhibbets> and, I'll add that Allen and are were talking about doing a social media themed presentation in September. He would cover the modules side and I would cover the how to do social media side

<jhibbets> I think I remember someone asking about drush
<paulthed> Greg, what specific modules would you discuss? or would it be how to enable/disable modules, choosing modules, etc.?
<jhibbets> is that a topic that folks would be into and do we have a presenter?
<CGMonroe> I can do this.. it's based on stuff I've done with our folks here.

<SteveCory> I would put "How to create and update modules, with a side on how to create a patch." near the top of the list, for us noobs
<CGMonroe> Module thing - More about structure of a module (e.g. where it lives, key files, how to do some quick "splunking" to find what URLs, theming options, blocks, and some other stuff exist in it)
<JuliaKM> I think afreemanc has done a patch presentation before
<SteveCory> Greg knows modules pretty well. . .anyone else?

<jhibbets> we also have DC asheville coming up, anything that could compliment people attending that, not sure how many folks from Tri-Dug plan on attending
<jhibbets> SteveCory, I don't know that much about modules except there are a lot and I'm not sure the best way to vet how to choose a good module
<paulthed> CGMonre: that module presentation sounds good
<CGMonroe> Yeah, I could add in some basic stuff on getting started on module dev...
<CGMonroe> they are related when you start explaining about "Hooks" like _menu and where to find URLs
<CGMonroe> One thing we haven't done recently was to have time dedicated to "open mic" / bring your problem
<CGMonroe> That has worked pretty well in other meeting in the past.

<jhibbets> we should try to do that about once every quarter
<CGMonroe> Maybe if JK can get there early enough she could ask for SEO help...lol
<SteveCory> Isn't that more like a camp than a meetup though?

<CGMonroe> With an hour, it's sort of camp like but we tend not to break up but do it as a group
<JuliaKM> CGMonroe: You might have done this already, but a session on migrating from Wordpress/Other CMSes would probably be well-received
<jhibbets> CGMonroe, so a module presentation and open mic night, sounds good to me
<CGMonroe> Re- Wordpress, etc - Problem is finding a presenter...
