I just stumbled across this group and wanted to mention a site I work on, GreenRenter.com. GreenRenter aims to be the resource and directory for all green commercial and residential buildings available for rent. We have a very detailed submission form, highlighting all of a buildings green features, and then allow users to search and filter by these features in different locations. We launched very recently in Portland, OR, which is where our listings are still concentrated, but we have expanded to other major markets and buildings can be posted in any location.
I am one of the founders and lead developer. We would love any feedback!

I wouldn't do it any either way ;) Well, actually I would if need be, but Drupal was a great fit for this project.

Most of the work is done with CCK and Views, along with GMap and Location for mapping.
Many of the features are attained with these basic tools along with heavy duty theming (map views and photo galleries), extending via exposed APIs (as in the case of GMap), and a couple of custom helper modules.
