I'm currently using the SpamSpan module to obfuscate all e-mail addresses which appear on one of my web sites. The site owner is concerned about an up-tick in the amount of SPAM they receive so I'm looking for suggestions to better protect these addresses.
Suggestions?
I'm not convinced that the obfuscated addresses in the web site are a major contributor to SPAM e-mails. Consequently, I've suggested we create a set of alternate e-mail addresses to appear ONLY in the web site and begin to monitor how much and what kind of traffic begins to use these alternate addresses. Is this suggestion worthwhile or does anybody have another approach to suggest?
Thanks in advance for any comments you can provide.

Invisimail is supposed to obfuscate email addresses while Bad Behavior and Cloudflare stop robots.
I think all 3 are for D6 only to date.

Just wanted to clarify that email obfuscation is also available in your CloudFlare settings (settings->CloudFlare settings).

Hi,
May be I am late with the advice however why do not try Keypic? Keypic provides the reliable spam protection without using CAPTCHAs. No CAPTCHA, No Spam!
BTW, users appreciate it much, https://www.drupal.org/project/keypic
This smells of Marketing spam and is unwelcome here.
The question was not about CAPTCHA but about obfuscations not to mention the post is 3 years old. Your for-pay product does not do obfuscation, so is not relevant to this topic.
You are not a developer but a "digital marketer". You work for Keypic inc.. Keypic is a for-pay or for advertisement service.

Your group account is 18 hours old as of this posting. So this is likely one of your first posts.

As of this post, the reported installs of the keypic module is only 27 sites currently reporting using this module. This is a very low number.
Please provide "advise" not "marketing".

Hi Michael,
I do not miss the responses to criticism. Yes, my comment is off-topic. I was wrong and mistaken putting it here.
