With East Croydon station being about a 10 minute walk to Fairfield Halls, the latest(!) trains we can get from Brighton are:
7.33->8.24
7.50->8.38
Having experienced registration queues previously, getting in at 8.38 leaves not a lot of time for delays if you want to see Dries' keynote so to be safe I'm going to aim for the 7.33 train.
Admittedly it's easier for me as I only live 4 mins walk from the station so I understand if you don't want to go that early, but be aware you might miss some of the keynote!
Should be a bit easier Weds/Thurs as no registration, and of course if you're on a course on Monday then you'll already be registered!
Look forward to seeing some of you there!

Pants!
Pants! I've just checked http://southernrailway.com and typically the 7.33 is the only one not allowed on the £21 return to Croydon ticket :(
Which means I'll have to get the 7.24->8.20 or the 7.50->8.38. Although no doubt the keynote won't start bang on 9am I'm not sure I want to leave it to chance so I'll still aim for the 7.24.
If you're getting a return to London because you're going on the DrupalCon London Pub Crawl (http://ubelly.com/drupalconpubcrawl) then you'll probably not have any restrictions like this. Not sure if I'm going yet as cashflow low and don't want to miss half of Wednesday like I did in Chicago after enjoying myself too much the night before lol ;)
So who's going up by train from Brighton and what are your plans?
Less than 24 hours to go!!!
OK, so I'm going to be crazy and try to get the 7am train so I can go to the pre-keynote DrupalCon introduction session cos it sounds like fun...
So I guess I'll see people up there, enjoy!
NOTE: Please if you haven't already can you join http://groups.drupal.org/brighton as I'll be mostly posting events etc. on there if we get enough members to be approved!
ENJOY DRUPALCON LONDON!!!
