Realized I hadn't posted a link to this BoF here in the group - http://london2011.drupal.org/bofsession/drupal-7-and-online-advocacy
There are some good folks here in London that I'm hopeful will participate. Sorry for the late notice.

Bummer!
Barry Madore and I are here in London, but we're double-booked with a community funding initiatives BoF at http://london2011.drupal.org/bofsession/community-initiatives-paying-plu... .
In the past, we've been able to attend both BoF's. Our impression is that the advocacy and non-profit BoF's often lead to discussions about how there are so many missing and incomplete solutions. That discussion segues into a discussion about the necessity for funding, process and governance that might provide the resources to build tools for advocacy. The Community Initiatives BoF is a continuation of that discussion.
I'd like to be part of the advocacy discussion, but my biggest priority is finding a way to build and support tools sustainably. I'm hoping we can join forces or compare notes later.
Glad you were able to make it
Allie, I'm glad you & Barry were able to make it in the end. Had a few conversations with people over the week around improving sustainability of the community. Thriving, but still so much more to do.
Hopefully we can take some of the ideas discussed & bring them into the http://drupal.org/community-initiatives
I'm not very good at taking notes most times. If folks have follow-up thoughts from the session that would be good.
There were nearly ten of us there as I recall.
