Greetings Ladies,
I have been a web applications developer since 1997, but started using Drupal 6 in May 2011 for my current job.
Since then I've experienced the infamous "Drupal Learning Curve" and struggled through it. I ship my first Drupal site at the beginning of October.
I have a question though. While I have many years experience with Windows (I ran a Help Desk for 3 years), my Unix is rusty. They run Ubuntu/Apache here, and I need to do Drupal minor version upgrades through the command line on some of the existing sites (from 6.19 to 6.21 or 6.22). The directory structure differs from the one I saw in the Drupal tutorials I took and books I read.
Would anyone be willing to mentor me by answering a few questions on best practices for minor upgrades? Some of the sites I need to upgrade are production sites.
New sites going forward will be developed on a TurnKey Linux VM, which has separate issues with directory structures and drush.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to participating in Drupalchix.

Are you still looking for help??
Hi dlang99!
I've been working with drupal for almost five years, and I guess it's time to get involved -at least, I give financial support, of course!-. Have you found someone to discuss your questions??
Cheers!
