We're doing it again! http://indygivecamp.org
Last year we had THREE Drupal teams rocking and showing off how awesome Drupal is.
We have Matthew Connerton making a repeat appearance all the way from Asheville NC.
I'd love to see at least three teams again. We already have a lot of .net ppl volunteering and we have a LOT of charities fighting to win a free website or a major website upgrade. A couple of them are actually needed applications built for a desktop.
We need Designers [ppl who can push pixels around, make some buttons, logos, gradients, etc]
We need Themers [ppl who can take the creatives and make dog gon sure they line up where they're supposed to on everything except maybe IE!] ;-)
We need Site Builders who can create content types and views and migrate pages from the legacy site
See the VOLUNTEER link on the site to get a better idea.
AND We need SPONSORS! IndyGiveCamp will feed you the whole time you are there. Please consider sponsoring the event on a personal level AND asking your employer to assist as well. We're not too far off from our goal but the camp is getting close!
Visit http://indygivecamp.org for more details and since its a Drupal site feel free to offer your services if you see something you want to change!

15 days to go!
We have 35 volunteers including developers, designers, etc.
The current ratio is 34 to 1 with only one Drupal guy. [Yah, that dougvann guy ROX but he's no Superman!]
Erik Baldwin is considering coming over from Chicago to help.
I wonder if Chris Gross or Matthew Radcliffe could come from Columbus?
Or maybe Phil and Chuck from Cinci?
[[ yah im calling out names now! LOL ]]
Here's the scoop:
We show up at dinner time on Friday the 14th of Oct. We eat, hang out, meet our team, meat our charities then we GET TO WORK!
We sleep there on site and get 3meals on Saturday.
On Sunday we wake up, eat and put finishing touches on the sites then have a presentation where each team shows off their site.
Who's with me?
Goto the site and fill out the volunteer form. http://indygivecamp.org/node/add/volunteer-sign-up-form
AND if you want to $pon$or the IndyGiveCamp :-) http://indygivecamp.org/sponsor-our-givecamp

So far here is the DRUPAL makeup of the INDYgivecamp.
ME from Indy
Matthew Radcliffe from Ohio
Erik Baldwin from Chicago
This will likely mean that Drupal will only have ONE charity to work with. If I can get one or tow more Drupalers in the mix then we can have TWO charities loved on by Drupal.
Please don't let DotNetNuke woop on us at 7to1
PLZ go to http://indygivecamp.org/volunteers and hit the VOLUNTEER link and fill out the form. THNX!
p.s. even some moderately skilled Drupalers would be helpful AND you'll learn as you go!
