Hi! I would like to ask if there’s someone interested to work on this particular part of the drupal-based website of our company:
General flow of the framework:
Our company will give a login number to a particular client. So, this client will browse our website, go to login page, key in the login no. and password given to him. After keying in, if successful, the page will redirect to event application page where he will type all the necessary information. After the client keyed in his information successfully, a message to his email will be sent stating that his application is Acknowledge. *Plus other applications will be tabulated as a spreadsheet. The entire spreadsheet will only be available to the admin. Parts of the spreadsheet (e.g. only 3 event in brief) will automatically appear as a self-updated block on the homepage.

Looking at it from a different angle
Drupal is a pretty big piece of software and you want to use a small fraction of it. Don't get me wrong, I love Drupal but you don't need Drupal to do this. Mind you, you can do this in Drupal but that like using a 8-ton 6-wheel truck to haul a single bag of groceries from the store to your house 3 block down the road.
You should look into a "lighter" web frameworks (I'm assuming that you guys want to work with PHP) like fuelphp, codeIgniter or Fat-FreePHP.

@ Killer Tilapia: Thanks for the info. In general, we prefer Drupal framework. But if the candidate can/will used other framework with this particular part of the drupal-based website, as long as he/she proves it works well, then its not a problem :)
I would probably stay away
I would probably stay away from most of what iller tilapia recommended. You could try out something with a self service tool i have setup at http://wembassy.com it is pretty simple to get going and would fulfill your needs. Sounds like KillerTillapia's recommendation is pretty solid.
I will say however that I think his recommendation requires a bit more talent than a beginner Drupal person might be able to implement though.

well that and any time you start adding more systems or different systems you add chance for failure/breakdown. I just prefer to run most things on drupal because I am so into it now. I can manipulate most of the stuff i need through the various hook system and it provides me with something of a standard for sites I am building. Also being able to reuse code from a past project to speed up my work is always a nice thing.

they state that the functionality is "a particular part" of their website. Do you know what the entire website does? If not then how can you make any recommendations as to the solution? They could already be using Drupal for all you know.
