I am looking at many things
I am looking at many things aswell :). Currently the sharepoint DM needs to interface with drupal. I would like to update meta data of the documents via drupal as well as view the content. Last i checked SP 2010 has CMIS support not 2007 and I m not sure of the maturity of the current CMIS implementation in drupal. I would be nice to have a much broader discussion on this. It can even be a candidate for contribution.

There is a sharepoint module
There is a sharepoint module http://drupal.org/project/sharepoint .It can communicate with sharepoing webservice API. This module is currently providing functionality to retrieve the required information from sharepoint. This module is integrated with Views module. Have a look at it, it might help you.
Cannot see Sharepoint field for my feeds
Hi, i am curenttly in the process of integrating drupal 7 and sharepoint 2007. i am having problems viewing the sharepoint field in my views. i can configure sharepoint feed parsers and all but i cannot seem to be able to import the feeds from sharepoint. what should the URL be and how do i get to see the sharepoint field on views
Any progress on making this work?

The SharePoint module has 7 open bugs, none of which seem to be in process of being worked.
Do we in fact have any reliable module to connect Drupal to SharePoint?
