[SOLVED] My Panel Node is hidden by default - I have to click the teaser to show it - how make the full Panel content available automatically (i.e. remove the teaser)?

My Panel Node is hidden on the front page with a title, posted by-line (user and date) and teaser to show it - how make the full Panel content available (i.e. remove the teaser)?

I have a solution to remove the by-line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaGh3jRH1Uo

BUT not to force the display of the Panel fully on the page.

The instructions here: http://drupal.org/node/514318 do not work for panels because in the manage display area teaser setting for panels, admin/structure/types/manage/panel/display/teaser

I am told "There are no fields yet added. You can add new fields on the Manage fields page."

So I can't remove the teaser and force the whole panel to be displayed.

Advice please?

Self-solved: Create a Panel Page

therobyouknow's picture

I created a Panel Page and added the view blocks as content. This is displayed in full as required.

Just a thought: "Panel Page" is misleading because to me it implies a full webpage, whereas it is actually a page within a template, as all the other template furniture still exist around it.
