We are building a competitive online music radio community we are hoping will be more useful to discover music than anywhere else online, however thus far Drupal has slowed down our development dramatically since converting from Perl. We have been working on the project now for 2 years. We are now based in Portland, OR.

We are finally working on a major launch of a beta working with drupal developers abroad currently. However we are looking for skilled Portland, OR based developers now to take Beta to the next level as the difficulties are mounting doing this without face to face contact.

Developers must be willing to spend a lot of nights and weekends on this project as that is when we work on it and can do QA. Creativity and collaboration a must. Good communication skills with client crucial. Must be willing to work for fixed price versus hourly since we are budget constrained still. Must meet weekly on project and be able to show progress each week. Needs someone who is very skilled at working with Drupal, Shoutcast, Javascript, and Flash. Design skills with Illustrator or Photoshop a plus. The site is a custom theme that does not conform to Drupal mentality. Must also appreciate the DIY aesthetic and enjoy DIY music.

Only parties who have plenty of examples of other sites they have built need contact us. OK if you are one person, but prefer a company with several developers to speed up development of project. We are definitely willing to pay bonuses for work delivered beyond expectations either on feature/functionality, design, or timing.

I know it's asking a lot of you all, sorry if it sounds like that. But we've learned many lessons over the years.
