Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in attending a 6 week training course in Sydney. At the moment I am just putting the feelers out to see if there is any interest. It would be conducted over about six Saturdays and cost approximately $200 per day to cover the cost of the facilities and the trainer. Students would learn how to develop a custom site in Drupal from scratch. It is definitely aimed at those who are starting out in Drupal.

I am interested in Drupal/php training to be implemented immediately!
I have a good understanding of installing and using Drupal for basic sites as well as slightly adjusting existing modules, but I am VERY keen to learn how to implement particular functionality to a Drupal site, and learn more about scalability with drupal.

If you or anyone knows of someone who would be interested in teaching advanced Drupal/php in Sydney please let me know. I have tried to find someone a few times over the past 2 years and it seems almost impossible. It makes me consider looking at other CMS's.

I would be very interested, however I think the price of 200 per day, is really rich for me :( However I do understand costs need to be covered, It will be longer for to learn the way Im doing it, but reading many Drupal books etc, has so far been valueable to me at this stage, although Im still needing some questions answered via forums and groups, needless to say, I am working on my first Drupal site, even though Im sure Drupal can do so much more then what Ive done, my steps will have to be baby ones if training will cost me $200 bucks a day.
Sound great for one that can afford it though. If the price does ever come down or even if you had training/tutorials for any given day at $200 be listed out on what would be taught for that particular day, then if thee were a few things being taught on that day, that I would be interested in, instead of building a whole site from wooto go over 6 weeks, then my interest may be sparked. As I would only be interested in a one time lesson based on certain topics at that price.
If that happens then let me know! ;)
