As far as I know, oklahoma has no active Drupal Users Group (DUG). Having spoken with a couple other OK based drupalers we'd all really like to see that change.
With Drupalcon DC coming, I'm personally out of town and busy until after that, but it's been proposed that perhaps a late March, early April meetup might be possible. There's also been some talk of the okcCoCo in this regard. I'm not really part of that at all so I can't make commitments for them, but if we need a place to meet I'm sure our offices will be enough to start (Other ideas welcome).
If you're interested in doing this, please chime in on some date/time that might work for you. I think at the moment we're mostly interested in just getting a meetup going so we can all get familiar with each other, so please, don't let inexperience keep you from participating. If you know OK based drupalers or people who would be interested, please point them this way and help us get this started.

I'm interested, and sort of close
I'd be interested in attending, as long as it's on the west side of Oklahoma. I'm in Amarillo, roughly halfway between OKC and ABQ. The Drupal activity in my neighborhood is still pretty slim, but watching (and helping!) it increase. :) So I'm always interested in meeting up with other drupalers for knowledge shares and miscellaneous other revelry.

After asking around about best practices at drupalcon about this, what I'd like to do is maybe put together an evening dinner thing just so we can all get together, discuss our different experiences with Drupal, and just get to know each other. With us actually being into March as this point I'm probably just going to post a couple of potential dates/places here shortly and see what the response is.

OK, so lots of good news all around here, I know I haven't posted much lately, but I HAVE been working on some behind the scenes stuff.
How does Tuesday May the 12th at Panera Bread on memorial right by Mercy Hospital sound?... Say 7:30pm? I think they stay open till 9.
I'm wanting this first meeting to maybe be an informal gather just to get to know one another. I have some good stuff moving for a more permanent meeting space, and I'll share details at our first meeting. I will hopefully have some date options at that time, and we can go ahead and schedule the next meeting.
