I'm new to this Drupal group

Hi everyone. I'm a long-time MIT communications staffer and have been a Drupal dabbler in recent years. I took two days of hands-on training earlier this week at Acquia and am looking for others in the Drupal community to help me keep the momentum going. Is this group indeed meeting Thursday 11/17 in Arlington? Thanks! Tom Pixton tom@pixton.org

I'm relatively new to the group

I have attended this meetup a few times now, and there are always more people than signed up here. I guess regulars are just going there once they receive an email reminder.

Thanks

New here as well

Hello Everyone,

I'm excited to see that this meeting is held biweekly in Arlington, however, I JUST found out about this meeting today and will not be able to make it until 8-8:15ish--if I'm lucky. I already booked tennis and dinner with my mom and she'd shoot me if I cancelled on her now!

Regardless, I'm somewhat of a Drupal newbie working on a web application to use with my math tutoring students and possibly others if the concept works. I am very eager to make some new friends and see what others are doing with Drupal!

Does anybody know where this meeting is held once inside the Arlington library?

Find us on the fourth floor

Hi, Jason,
Hope you can come. We meet in the conference room that's on the fourth floor. You can take the stairs to your right as you come in and go to the top floor. The conference room is on your right. Or you can take the elevator to the fourth floor, then turn right and go to the left side of the balcony. The conference room will be on your left.

Meeting this week?

Were we able to secure a meeting location for this week?

Only one meeting in December

MBR's picture

December was a tough month to book at Robbins Library, so instead of the usual two Thursdays, I could only get a room for one Thursday in December. The next meeting is Thursday, December 15th. And the room is changed. Instead of being in the Conference Room on the 4th floor, it's in the Community Room in the basement.

In January, we resume meeting two Thursdays per month in the 4th floor Conference Room - January 12, 2012 and January 26, 2012.
