Since the end of November, I have been working on converting my organization's static web site into a dynamic one using Drupal. I have managed without any special assistance to get the site up and running, and I understand most of what I think I need to know, but it's what I don't know that I need to know that worries me (Shoot me if I begin to sound like Dick Cheney!), and there are some aspects of Drupal theming and content management that I could use a little assistance with.
Is there someone in Portland who knows Drupal that wouldn't mind spending a few minutes with me on the phone answering my stupid questions?

I won't speak for all here, but i for one would have trouble scheduling a call during the workday to discuss something completely open ended.
But I do check here when I have spare time (like late at night or in the middle of an interminable conference call or while I'm waiting for a big file to move) and do try to answer specific questions posted (don't worry about 'dumb' questions, there's a good chance we all didn't know the answer at some point).
Also, the monthly meeting is a great place to bend someone's ear.
good luck.
I would be more than happy
I would be more than happy to help you out, Doing this sort of stuff over the phone can be irritating however. I'd be down to help out in person.
