Start:
2009-02-26 12:00 - 13:30 America/Los_Angeles
Event type:
User group meeting

This month's topic is Upgrading to Drupal 6.
"The drop is always moving" is a Drupal motto. The upside is constant innovation, the downside is that upgrading Drupal to the next version can take care and effort. This month Debrorah Fuzetto will present a case study on upgrading an existing site from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6. Derek Wright (dww) will talk about upgrading drupal.org to Drupal 6. And Gowri will give an overview of internationalization features in Drupal 6, and the virtual sprint to get improvements into Drupal 7.

See you all there,
Tao Starbow

BDUG is the Berkeley Drupal Users Group. This group is open to everyone in the area who is interested in learning, teaching or networking about Drupal. We meet monthly on the UC Berkeley campus.

When: Once a month, over lunchtime, on the 4th Thursday of the month.

Where: 290 Hearst Memorial Mining Building (290 HMMB), on the UC Berkeley Campus

Directions & Map:
This room is located next to CITRIS headquarters, directions at: http://groups.drupal.org/node/10018/directions
Annotated map of campus: http://groups.drupal.org/node/10018/map

Parking can be a challenge around campus. The closest area to look is around Hearst & Euclid. Also, Hearst Mining is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown Berkeley BART station.

I think the next one I could do would be about Views 2.x. I am really learning about the power it has.
Let me know when you need someone again.
