Anyone people had experience of getting Ubercart to work with Australia Post's eParcel?
I can see how a custom module could be created, but before setting down that path I wanted to see if anyone had any experience?

We just did a project where we evaluated doing an AusPost Shipping API module, but the cost/complexity was too high for the client, so just went with a flat rate model. Talk to Kim about it if you need more detail.

Ooer, sounds ominous… The client has already decided and been sold eParcel, so looks like some fun is coming…
If we get it working (and it wont be handling things like tracking), hopefully it can be committed and added to the existing but slightly outdated Australia Post module for Ubercart…
Does this help?

Hey Chris, Realise this
Hey Chris,
Realise this questions quite old - but since relevant figured I'd throw out some knowledge you may have been looking for.
We did some work with eParcel on a client project recently - straight up it was extremely painful. I'd suggest if possible avoiding any work in the area until they upgrade integration options/provide an API (there is none currently just a CSV import).
As we headed down the trap, we ended up talking directly with different AusPost IT teams trying to get things to validate - long story short all their teams provided advice which ended up useless and often outright wrong. Added to that, the CSV uploads fail for 95% of systems. If you get an error on upload it doesn't mean the file structure of the CSV you're uploading is wrong, it likely means you need to try many other computers/platforms/browsers.
Our end solution is messy but I could try and put together a module on it - let me know if you're still interested.
Thanks everyone, it turns out
Thanks everyone, it turns out that we only have to use the csv export, which looks easier, but I shall bear in mind your feedback :-/
Ubercart, Drupal Commerce and eParcel
For anyone that's interested, we're a drupal shop that's developed a solution for both Ubercart and Drupal Commerce for integrating with Australia Post's eParcel.
