How to add a forum to a group?

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Hello All,

I would like to add a forum to each group. Is that possible? I know that discussions are already there but is it possible to add a forum as such?

Should commons be moved to D7 - Yes

The discussions module is a nice feature, however for those of us who are going to hang a commons install out on a public interface implementing a hook into the advanced forum module would be far more useful. There are permissions issue to address for that as well and the creation of a forum container should be optional. I don't know exactly how to address where to put the containers so it will fit the commons model.

Having the delete_all module ( http://drupal.org/project/delete_all ) included would be nice to quickly address those unwanted individuals that did get around mollom.

This is of course all my personal wishes, but I suspect that I'm not alone on this.
