I thought free Drupal hands-on training in the past when I was working for University Information Technology Services. UITS is no longer offering those workshops. I'm now working for the Social & Behavioral College's Tech Department.
I may be able to offer the Drupal hands-on training again for a cost. Hopefully, the workshops would be more in depth and cover more areas like advanced views and multimedia. The workshops may also be available to non-UA people through the UA Outreach College.
Would anyone be interested in taking the workshops even if they were at a cost?

Cost avoidance
Sorry, but I have never been able to convince my people that Drupal training was worth paying for, mostly because the few people who were content contributors needed only occasional assistance.
But we have found that cooperating with other departments and getting some combined benefit of the experience on campus with some training sessions has worked well.
I used to do this with the Netmgrs group: one member would have a computer lab and could provide the setup, another member or two could provide some targeted training exercises, another could run the details on registration.
