There is a place recently opened in Vero Beach (http://www.Regus.com) that offers temporary work space, if there is interest. I am just a newbie, and would like to find other locals. Brevard and Broward counties are a bit of a drive!

Sebastian
Hi Sue,
I'm In Satellite Beach (which is Brevard) but don't mind driving to Vero or Sebastian sometimes. I'm also looking to meet with others interested in using Drupal in creative ways.

Southern Brevard
Hi, I too am interested in getting together with others in the southern Brevard area. We used to have a group that met in Melbourne and was fantastic but they have moved farther north to Cocoa and I am seldom able to attend that one.
Southern Brevard
Hi Sue,
I would like to see the Melbourne meetings pickup again. I live in Melbourne and Flip from our class also lives here. I don't know where the folks were meeting before Mike asked for the location to change to Cocoa.
Southern Brevard
This could be an opportunity to see if there is enough interest to start south brevard meetings. For me, Melbourne is not in my gas budget.
two locations...
Perhaps the solution is to continue to have 2 meetups per month, but in different locations. One in Cocoa and one in Melbourne...

That's a great idea, Mike!
Also, Maggie, were you aware of the meetups being held in Cocoa Village recently? It would be about a half-hour drive for you.
I was actually thinking of trying to get something going for the "Last Friday Co-working" movement...
co-working
Yes I do go to the meetups, and I'm thinking of driving to Orlando if we don't get a Brevard co-working event going. Cocoa is about the same as Melbourne for me. Mike is wonderful.... needs to be cloned...
Our previous Melbourne
Our previous Melbourne Meetups were at Radiant Blue Technologies, on East New Haven Avenue in Melbourne.
I would be happy to host a meetup there if there is enough interest and topics. The end of the month co-working is still just tentatively planned for Cocoa Village. I don't know if we can even use that space on that day.
Coworking at Radiant Blue wouldn't work well during the day, since there isn't enough room, but if there is another location that someone has in mind we can always move there.
There are a few coffee shops and restaurants in the downtown Melbourne area that have decent wifi that might be willing to host a coworking day though.
Post your ideas and suggestions and let's make it happen.
Possible Location
I have a location we could use in Palm Bay ~ 1mile from I-95 exit 173. It is at an apt community office/recreation center. It has about 6 tables each seating 4. There is wireless g which I can change to "N" when needed and a 36" lcd tv., a small kitchen with microwave, sink and refrigerator. It is ours to use if we are interested. The meetings in Melbourne were the highlight of my week, but I was unable to follow when they moved to Cocoa.
Palm Bay coworking?
Are you suggesting this Palm Bay location for the Friday Coworking events? If so, I would be interested!
