When I happen to run into a Drupal developer in Huntsville, they usually aren't a member of G.D.O. They are usually tucked away in some office in Research Park. Maybe I should be forwarding more people over to this group?
However, I'm definitely interested in getting some people together for a DrupUp. Maybe some other people will pipe up soon.

Yes, you should nudge them here. If there's some other obvious central gathering place, I don't know where it is. (C'mon secret hideout password!) I'm not part of a web dev team, nor is my company's primary focus on web dev, so this is my best shot of turning up local people who are actually doing what I'm doing. Chances are good I'm not the only one in this situation, either.
New to Huntsville
Hello All!
I'm new to Huntsville and I had heard that the Joomla community here was pretty strong, so I'm happy to see a Drupal Group for this area. I would love to get together with all of you. I'm sure everyone will be busy during the Holiday Season, so maybe sometime after the New Year we can organize a DrupUp.

I hadn't heard of the Nook before so I looked them up and found their website. www.thenooktavern.com for anyone else reading this who is curious. A selection of over 250 beers, WOW! That's pretty impressive. I'm usually tied up with the family Friday evenings and weekends but maybe a Thursday evening would work?
