I haven't announced it yet, but I want to do a fun project with Freebase data + Drupal as a front end. I'm aiming to have a breakfast meeting on April 16th.

I was thinking of doing something similar... using Drupal to help feed more data (in particular BC wines) into Freebase... but lack of free time and commitment is holding me back. It'll be interesting to know more about what you have in mind. Perhaps we could bring this conversation to the message board.

Heya fuzziebrain. I'm sort of allergic to Meetup.com :P I'll be posting a blog post announcing some ideas soon, and I'll drop a link here when it's up.
And yes, definitely thinking reads and writes, with Freebase as a neutral data store. Your idea about wines is great ... I have some food provenance ideas myself, although my first idea is actually around restaurants.
