Block (containing User info) not visible when logged in as Authenticated User

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I created a Block using Views containing User information. Here are Fields:

User: Picture
User: Name Username
User: Created date Member since
User: Edit link
Global: Custom text
Global: Custom text

The first "Global: Custom text" contains:
<a href="/logout">LOGOUT</a>

The second "Global: Custom text" contains:

<br>
<a href="/admin/content/node">CONTENT MANAGEMENT</a><br>
<a href="/node/add/banner">ADD BANNER</a><br>
<a href="/node/add/courses">ADD COURSES</a><br>
<a href="/node/add/news-events">ADD NEWS</a><br>
<a href="/node/add/partners">ADD PARTNER</a><br>
<a href="/node/add/social-media-buttons">ADD SOCIAL LINKS</a>

I've set permissions of this Block visible to Authenticated Users only.
I've also tried removing some fields that are Admin related.

Thanks in advance for the help. I'm stumped!

Ayaw lumabas yung block pagnaka-login as authenticated user pero pag admininstrator nakikita siya.

try mo check yung permissions

try mo check yung permissions ng Authenticated-User para sa mga content-types. May permissions dapat ang Authenticated-User para ma access ang mga content-types kahit wala pa yung Block (containing User info) mo. Look for it at Permissions-page or Roles-page. Sa Drupal 6, nasa User-menu yata. Sa Drupal 7, nasa People-menu at sa Modules-menu, Sa bawat modules may Configure-button or Permissions-button sa right side yata.
'Hope this helps.

None of the fields I'm using

None of the fields I'm using is a a CCK field that I created. Like what I mentioned, I tried removing all the fields and just had the username showing and it's still not visible by the authenticated user. I've compared this to another website that I did with the save Block configuration and it works there but not here.

Here is a screenshot of my Views configuration for this block:

  1. at 'admin/build/block/configure/' it should be 'Show on every page except the listed pages.' and both options for 'Show block for specific roles: ' are unchecked.
  2. flush website cache, sometimes more than once. in drush its 'drush cc all'.
  3. flush browser cache also. Use another browser to access it as anon user, clear the browser's cache ie. in Google Chrome Ctrl+shift+Del, clear browsing data, then restart the browser and load it again.
  4. try writing random text sa Global Custom Text, check if lalabas yun. The usual Lorem Ipsum, to eliminate the possibility that it's a block issue. If that works, baka view permissions ng User data.

thats all i can think of unless may ginagamit kang some other module that affects that somehow. Lumalabas naman siya ng tama sa preview ng views right?

Thanks for all the support!

Thanks for all the support! John_B from drupal.org forums saw the solution!

I made a mistake by creating a NODE View! Dapat USER View siya.

It's solved now! Whew! :)

I need the block visible only

kuydigital's picture

I need the block visible only on the homepage because this is the nature of the layout/design. So I'm using the option:

"Show on only the listed pages." and "Pages: <front>"

See screenshot:

As you can see in the screenshot, the block is visible when logged-in as administrator but it doesn't show up when logged-in as an authenticated user.
I've tried clearing the cache in Drupal several times and also clearing cache/restarting Safari and it still doesn't work. :(
