Hello everyone. I'm having trouble accessing a site migrated from Webenabled to my localhost. It seems that I lost access to the site following a Windows update. Please see attachment with screen shots for file structure, Drupal control panel, and databases as well as a detailed explanation. I am curious if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and if so, how did you solve it? Thank you.

It sounds like you'll need to

It sounds like you'll need to edit acquia's vhosts.conf to point localhost:8082 to the correct path. I don't have dev desktop installed on this computer, so I can't give you the specifics, but its under c:\program files\acquia\something or another\

You may also just be able to re-import the site to run off of another TCP port.

vhosts.conf

Thank you.

I found the vhosts.conf. The path is C:\Program Files (x86)\acquia-drupal\apache\conf\vhosts.conf I edited the file by adding

ServerName chanda.localhost
DocumentRoot "C:\Users\Linda\Sites\chanda"

which I know is probably wrong but I thought I would give it a shot. It didn't hurt anything but didn't help either. I'm still pulling up the default site and the control panel is still not picking up the site.
I'm sorry but I don't understand your second suggestion. "You may also just be able to re-import the site to run off of another TCP port." I'm new at this.

Can you not just add the site

Can you not just add the site back through the Acquia Desktop?
You should be able to just import it.

Imported the database now have new error

I exported the database using phpMyAdmin and imported the site using Acquia Dev Desktop control panel and received this error:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\Users\Linda\Sites\acquia-drupal/sites/all/modules/contrib/views-7.x-3.0-rc1/views/includes/view.inc' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\Users\Linda\Sites\acquia-drupal\includes\bootstrap.inc on line 2701

I am totally lost now. lol

path correct?

Linda,

A couple of things stand out here - first and foremost, the forward and backslashes in the path. I'm not sure if this would cause this errors - maybe someone else familiar with Windows will chime in...

Is the "C:\Users\Linda\Sites\acquia-drupal/sites/all/modules/contrib/views-7.x-3.0-rc1/views/includes/view.inc" correct? Does that file actually exist?

crazy slashes

When I imported the file the program would not let me import a zip file. I had to unzip the file and import it. Could that cause the problem with the path?

nope

Probably not...
