Rumors of new 4.7 based OpenID server and client modules are running wild. The rumors swirl around Bryght and the mysterious James Walker in particular. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Show me the code!

hey moshe
It's true... the code is currently available here: https://svn.bryght.com/dev/browser/openid/drupal-4.7/ . Lots more coming... I'll try to be better about posting here on progress.

To say you made my day is an enormous understatement.
I'll be testing this out ASAP.

Thanks for creating this - being able to be free of the PEAR libraries is great.
I loaded up the Jan 18 nightly and can't resolve known good handles:
With xri.net/=fen I saw (in a sniffer) the XRDS being returned, but I wasn't redirected - I just got the error.
Any ideas on where I should start to troubleshoot this?
OpenID 2.x
This is OpenID 2.x code. The OpenID 1.x compatability layer is in progress.
There is an issue tracker for the module now, so please use that for bug reports.
Patches welcome....
Check in to CVS
It's in SVN because we're talking to the maintainer of the current OpenID 1.x code. Ideally, we'll get in as co-maintainers and put this code in as 4.7.x-2.x branch.
SVN repos not readable
I'd like to check out the files - do I have to view and copy them one at a time from Trac? On the front page of the wiki (https://svn.bryght.com/dev/wiki) is says: "Use this url (https://svn.bryght.com/dev/svn/) to checkout this public repository." but it appears to be protected by Basic Authorization.
And thanks for this excellent contribution!
Going to be in CVS today
We got co-maintainership of the existing http://drupal.org/project/openid, so it will be available in CVS today. I'll still have a look at the repo: it is all public and you can browse it at http://svn.bryght.com/dev/browser/openid, so maybe a switch got flipped somewhere.
