Roles and responsibilities?
It would be great if we could get a link to the roles and responsibilities chart that was talked about at the last DUG in April.
That way, people know what they're volunteering for, the expected time commitment, and what they're going to be able to contribute back to the community effort by signing up for this.
I think this will be much more successful if we have all of the pieces going into this.
Parking?
Hi all,
I'm coming from South East Portland (Sellwood) for the meeting and I'm debating driving or taking bus. I'm not used to public transport (just moved here) so I'm wondering if there is decent parking for the meeting or if I should just brave it on the bus and pray I don't get lost. :) Anyone?
Thanks!
Stacy
Tri-Met awesome
Also, if you have just moved here, Tri-Met's Trip planner is a bucket of awesome sauce - really simple to use, really accurate. It's never steered me wrong.

Parking
If you do decide to drive there is usually some space near Open Sourcery in the evenings. We generally didn't have problems parking when driving in for meetups. It might take some time to find parking, and it's usually easier to find it on 17th a couple of blocks away from Lovejoy.
But I second Trimet. It's generally easy to use the trimet planner, and my experiences going from NW to SE and back have been pretty good, although I haven't gone as far as Sellwood. Welcome to Portland. :)
I live in Sellwood also and
I live in Sellwood also and have found 70 to Rose Center and 77 to NW the most convenient way to do it. You can take the same bus routes going back. It usually takes about an hour or a bit more depending on the traffic though.
Parking in Northwest Portland
Parking in Northwest Portland can be kind of a pain. Hopefully a car-operating person will chip in with useful parking info.
I don't drive, so I always take transit in from Hillsboro and it's not bad at all. If you give yourself a little time to get lost and happen not to, there's plenty to explore in the area nearby.
You can take any bus that
You can take any bus that brings you downtown, then get on the streetcar.

Portland visitor bike resource page
Not sure this belongs in this particular thread, but for lack of a better place to post it, saw a great page on bike resources (via Pedalpalooza 2012) for out-of-town visitors to Portland (thinking obviously of DrupalCon Portland 2013) and wanted to flag it somehow for the content team in case they wanted to keep it in mind for the website.
