Are there results from the survey to see what people are interested in hearing about?
RedHen
If there's interest, I'd be happy to present on RedHen, a native Drupal 7 CRM ThinkShout's been working on. Related modules that we're integrating it with include Entity Registraitons and MailChimp / Mandrill, MC's new transactional email service.

Lightning Talks?
It sounded like people were working on a lot of interesting things when they shared during introductions at the last meetup. Maybe we could do a series of 5-8 minute "Lightning" presentations at a future meetup. That might help get more people presenting, since they won't have to worry about filling so much time... it might also be a good intro so they'll be more comfortable doing longer presentations.
All awesome suggestions! It
All awesome suggestions! It looks like we'll have a 30 minute presentation lined up for next month, would love to have another. Leb, are you OK with talking about RedHen for 20-30 minutes?
I really like the lightening talk idea, maybe we can get a signup going at the next meetup to get people prepped for July?
Call me Lev ;)
Sure thing ...

If there's time and interest
We could come down and present on the PDXCitySync platform we're developing in Drupal 7 and talk about the use of Easy XDM and the User Dashboard module which do the bulk of the work on the site.

BIG
Hi folks,
I'm working on BIG, a new Drupal based framework designed for rapid app deployment. I would be interested in giving a short presentation to your group. Since BIG is currently in development I would appreciate any feedback you could offer which would help in understanding how this framework fits with the needs of your community and how it can better meet those needs.
About BIG:
BIG is an open source framework similar to Organic Group, but geared toward applications deployment, both web and mobile. BIG will let you scale up any application to a multi-user/multi-platform environment regardless of the language used in the creation of the original application (rails, node.js, …). BIG already has some templates which replicate the Facebook and Basecamp model as well as an interesting way to solve the privacy issues while cutting development and deployment costs. Simply put, BIG uses Drupal as a gate keeper and aims to solve all deployment issues with web and mobile applications.

btw I plan to present the slides using the t3ll.me app which is another app people may interested to hear about.

Philippe, Thanks again for
Philippe,
Thanks again for presenting. I recently ran across this module: http://drupal.org/project/virtual_site and thought you might be interested, since you're working on multi-site functionality. It has a plugin system, so you may be able to leverage and extend it.
Thank you! That a great find.
Thank you! That a great find. The features overlap a little bit (VS Variables) but mostly they complement each other nicely. Virtual Site add flexibility to the theming and customization end while the user's partitioning and separation is handled by BIG. This can bring a simple way to setup a price plan by having Virtual Site deliver a different version of the app based on the user role.

I'm interested in doing a presentation on the new configuration system, but I will be in Barcelona during the June meetup.Maybe put me on the schedule for July?

OK, this is awesome. Lots of good suggestions here. It looks like for June we have a dude from Nike (forgot your name!!) presenting on some cool things they're doing in Drupal. I also have Leb lined up for the second half to talk RedHen.
I'm going to take the other options from this list and see if I can contact you individually.
@heyrocker: Reeeeally want to get you in for July.
Would three "presenters" per group meetup be too hectic? Should we stick to 2? Is there enough interest in lightening talks to get the 6-10 people needed to make it happen for a group session?
Would three "presenters" per
Yes. I'd prefer to avoid the infamous 'supersized' meeting from the last time we tried this. Lightning rounds on the other hand are always awesome.
re BIG
I was thinking a 10 - 15 minutes light presentation on my end (a general overview of the project). And I don't mind to be scheduled at the last session or for another month.
Thanks,

Cool, two tops. Also: All instances of "Leb" in this thread should immediately be replaced with "Lev" because spelling r hard.
my replacement
Hey gang - My apologies, but I messed up my dates and will actually be out of town for the meetup. Guess that's what happens when you don't attend enough of them ;)
Sean, a much better presenter anyways, in additino to perhaps other ThinkShouters, will cover for me if that's cool. Sean know's RedHen inside and out and ran our demo during our DrupalCon BOF.
Sorry again about the mixup, wish I could make it.

Just to swing back to this, it looks like we have our guy from Nike (still looking for his name!) and Sean from ThinkShout talking about RedHen.
It sounds like there is some enthusiasm for the PDXCitySync platform. ChrisNelson, could we talk you into a July presentation with heyrocker following up on CMI?
VisualFox, how's August look?
August works great!

Should I prepare for a short presentation or should I go for a full one?

Confirming...
I'm down.
As a bit of a teaser:
Lots of great stuff happening with RedHen CRM these days. Last week we enhanced our interface for managing connections between "Drupal user accounts" and "RedHen CRM contact records." I can demo an RedHen instance designed around "Association Management" features that allows you to manage organizational memberships and event registrations tied to CRM contact records. I can also demo the "engagement scoring" tool in RedHen.
Interesting!
I'm always curious to hear about other CRM systems that can connect to Drupal. I've pretty much just been using CiviCRM since it ties together with Drupal so well.

So big heads up: One of our presenters for June cannot make it. That means we need someone to fill a slot for June.
Some options in this thread:
No need to stress about slides. Just showing off the system and some code is always good. I'll contact both Chris and Phillipe and ask about availability.
I don't have any specific
I don't have any specific Drupal material prepared, but I can always give a presentation on data mining and collective intelligence. It's always a lot of fun to share these ideas with other developers.
How long is the time slot?

Now, that's something I will be interested in. If you are coming tonight be sure to come to say hi and tell me more about collective intelligence.
