I have some history with Drupal and have been interested in putting together a training program for corporate use. With the budget restrictions of today's economy, many companies have cut their training budgets mostly because of the high travel costs associated with sending people to seminars. I would like to substitute a self-paced web program for the off-site seminars. My initial read of the Quiz documentation has me very excited.
I would like to design several programs of 6-10 modules that constitute a course. The modules would be designed to take one hour or less to complete. The material would be presented in a "book" or other simple format (some with video, slides, etc). Then the participant would take the Quiz as a verification of familiarity with the subject matter.
The system would track the required modules and at completion would provide a certificate or other "diploma" for the course.
Is this possible with the Quiz module? Is anyone doing something similar? Are there any other resources I should explore?

Hia, as for tracking and certificate the only thing I know of is the Certify module we will make. it's still on the drawing board as we focus on other things in the quiz module first, and I don't quite know when it will be ready..
