Hi everyone,
Just letting you know that my business has released a repository for drupal essentials.
The the moment this is very bare, it only contains a makefile that I use to build websites with through drush/aegir. This includes a large number of modules that I commonly use as well as keep available in the platforms I make for Aegir.
Feel free to fork it, make changes, add things and then submit a pull request https://github.com/Pixelstack/drupal_essentials
Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks. There are a lot of combos which are interchangeable. So you will see a couple of modules that will ultimately do the same job, but a bit differently.
