Do we have a policy on work requests?

I begin to send many of my client enquiries here, telling them that a good place to start looking for a Drupal developer with capacity is to post project details here at the Australia group.

One such seems to have posted here late last week and now the post is gone; I'm wondering whether it was moderated off the group, and if so what is the policy for posting 'requests for Drupal website development here'. I'm just seeking clarification.

If this is not an appropriate forum for that purpose I'll redirect Aussie enquiries to http://drupal.org/paid-services.

Can the owner or moderator please clarify?
