Hi Drupal Gurus,
This is probably a pretty simple question but I still new to Drupal so I can't figure it out. Can someone help?
"Where is the teaser display format defined for a new content-type? 'Display Field' is not working."
Details of my problem:
I created several new content-types on my site (http://www.mysterymilonga.com/drupal6/), added some contents of those types and I am trying to create a new page displaying nodes of those type using views.
What I am finding is that the "teaser" only shows the body and not the title, email, etc. which I specified in the content-type "Display Field" page. The content of the default field like Title and CCK fields like email and photos are all missing.

additional details
An important detail I forgot to mention. I can solve my problem by adding individually the Fields I am missing to my view but I want to be able to only use the "Node: Teaser Teaser" object so I don't have to define every field. I would think I should be able to define for every content-type what the teaser format is. Am I mistaken?
Use the Views, Luke
In the views UI, select the Body field. Then, set the field to truncate to a specific number of characters.

How these items are displayed can be configured via the CCK admin ui --
Navigate to admin/content/node-type/[node-type-name]/display (or Administer --> Content management --> Content types --> Manage fields --> Display fields) to see the full UI -- this gives you pretty granulat control over how various fields are displayed within various contexts.

Solved one problem, but want to hide "Add new comment" link.
Turned out my problem is that in my view creation. I need to set the "Row Style" from "field" to "Node". That got the teaser to display correctly.
However I want to turn off the "Add new comment" link in the teaser while still showing it in the full Node. The Administer --> Content management --> Content types --> Manage fields --> Display fields only allows me to control the fields and this is not a field.
Anyone has idea how to hide the "Add new comment" link?
