Nice to see everyone at the meetup this evening, small one this time with just the 6 of us.

Responsive design came up again, Jaymie's got Miles setup with the superb Zen 5.x base theme and Foundation 3 library on top for layout - interesting combo. AdaptiveTheme was also discussed as a great out of the box base theme, with tones of point and click options and Sass integration.

Interesting to hear of Rohan's experiences with the http://qldfloods.org/ site, from 0 to millions of unique visitors in 24 hours. Quite the Drupal success story! Look forward to revisiting your presentation you gave at Drupal Downunder 2011 next month.

Rohan also raised the issue of bulk image import in D7. There doesn't seem to be a single stable solution like as there was in the image import module in D6. However Bulk Media Upload looks like it'll do what you need, bulk image upload into either image fields, or into the media module. Unfortunately there's no stable release, but there is some active development.

Thanks again to everyone for attending, see you all next month!

pity i wasnt there

Rohan and i have had some interesting experiences with d5 to d6 upgrades of sites - and not looking forward tot he eventual d6-d7 upgrades. images are a big issue in these. need to wait on the stable release of the bulk upload module first.
Roh - do you need the qld floods presentation files?
