Marji and Murray will be presenting a talk on using Puppet to deploy optimised servers for Drupal. They have developed a Drupal based front end for Puppet allowing you to select which configuration (LAMP, LEMP, Aegir, Solr) you want to install on your server. The talk will cover the basics of Puppet and will include a demonstration of how to easily roll out a Drupal server in the cloud. - Case Study: Video Health Helpline by Ryan Cross
We recently launched a website aimed at providing video consultations for people who need non-emergency medical attention. I will walk through some of the interesting bits of development and point out a module we contributed back from this project. - Demos Time permitting, I'll give a short demo of some recent distributions or anyone else who would like to demo something can come up. Doesn't have be finished or launched to demo.
- Continued at the pub with Drinks/food

SMTP modules
Ryan gave a little hint about sending SMTP mail to avoid having your message placed into spam folders. I checked out http://mandrill.com/ from Mailchimp. It has a generous free account and quick to set up. Looks good, especially if you are already using Mailchimp. It can be used from at least two modules:
http://drupal.org/project/smtp/
http://drupal.org/project/mandrill/
Looks like the smtp module should be a standard part of your arsenal if your sites need to send mails out to users and you don't want to hassle of sorting out why your mail isn't getting to its intended recipients.

+1 for mandrill
I use it for all production sites unless I'm given a really good reason not to.
The delivery and clickthrough reporting is a bonus.

Slides for deploy.morpht.com
I've posted up the slides from our talk on Puppet and Drupal. Marji and I got a lot of constructive feedback after the talk on how we can improve or recast things. Thanks guys! We'll be sure to integrate some of the feedback over the coming weeks and months.
Here are the slides:

For those of you who didn't make it to the talk and are interested in further investigation, you can try the service out for yourself. The service is in Alpha at the moment and is suitable for testing and demo purposes only. It will be heavily reworked. We are very keen to get your feedback on what you would like to see from such a service or if you have any suggestions on how it could be improved.
