I was wondering if anyone knows of any Drupal development firms in or around the Wisconsin area. The only one I know of is PALANTIR in Chicago.

We have a shop in Milwaukee as well. Contact me form more info.
Madison & Sun Prairie too
The peeps at Palantir are great. I've met them in person and not only are they all super-nice and extremely knowledgeable but many of them work on Drupal core, so you can't go wrong there.
... but you're looking for Drupal devs in Wisconsin so I'll put myself out there too. I run a small-ish web & interaction design shop just NE of Madison. I do enough Drupal-based work to warrant the use of a decent network of Drupal SME's including designers, developers, database admins, and user experience professionals when I need to increase bandwidth.
Check out my Drupal Groups user page for more info.
Cheers,
_rs
Where in Sun Prarie
How do I find you. I am in Sun Prairie as well.
Hello to Prevention As A Cure
As mentioned above, you can reach me via any number of contact points; my profile being the main one. http://groups.drupal.org/user/12578 ... look for the contact tab.
Thanks,
_rs
I'm getting "Access Denied" when I go to your profile
I'm a member of these groups:
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Wisconsin
Do I need to join another group to view your profile?
Connecting local Drupal SME's and 'Access Denied' errors fixed
Thanks for the heads-up mdhoerr on my broken Drupal Groups profile page.
Per this recent Drupal Groups post: http://groups.drupal.org/node/26125 ...it looks like I might have been 1 of the 8,000 user accounts that got hose'd when the whole Groups was updated/upgraded this past month (albeit from DrupalCon Paris, I think).

My Local Drupal SME chat, continued ...
It seems there is much more interest in learning more about my Madison ("& beyond"?) Drupal SME list than I have going than I had originally thought. This is good.
While my Drupal SME list is not a mailing list nor a newsletter and it's certainlly not a job board, it was (and currently still is) my own "go-to" list IF or when I need really smart, Drupal-specific devs, MySQL dba's, UX peeps, jQuery gurus, other front-end devs, module girls, theme guys (or vice versa), etc..
Yes, at the moment, this might be a bit selfish however, my list is not gigantic by any means but, who knows, maybe it'll turn into a local Drupal Community bartering service like Badger Barter or more like a niche-market, web-based, technical & creative job posting site like 37signals's Gig Board or AuthenticJobs.com (maybe those 2 sites set the bar a bit high?)?
Seriously, who knows ... any other ideas out there for a Drupal-SME list/Drupal web portal/micro site base on the Drupal WI Group? Dunno? Must. Get. Feedback.
Thanks,
_rs
Oh ... If anyone else expereinces an "Access Denied" issue, read to post linked above (then clicking on a link in that post called "user link", and all "should" be happy again too.
No more 'Access Denied' errors... I hope
Maybe a few gracious people out there could help me test that my profile really is fixed by hitting both my Groups profile page (http://groups.drupal.org/user/12578) and my Drupal.org profile page. They should both now be the same; for everyone.
Cheers,
_rs
Hello again ...
Let me know if you are looking for help with a Drupal project or if you're looking to become a SME (subject matter expert) in my local Drupal network.

For our new sites, we do Drupal work almost exclusively.
We also have a Drupal/Ubercart based online bookstore product that we've developed.

Hey all,
Thanks for letting me know. I'm looking to get more involved in the Madison/Wisconsin Drupal community so this is great info.
