Methods of displaying Drupal data in Filemaker

I would like to learn methods that you have used to display data from your Drupal site in Filemaker.

Have you used Filemaker's "external SQL data sources" to connect to Drupal? If so, how did that go?

I think the most interesting thing would be how to expose CCK fields as fields of a table in Filemaker. Also interesting would be presenting a view from Drupal as a table in Filemaker.

Like nadavoid, I also like to know more about how to get data from Filemaker into Drupal and manipulate them and send them back into Filemaker.

I've found some information that show how this can be done, please see attachment. I'm sure there's still some easy to way to do it.

Jeno, thank you for posting that PDF. It looks like it probably contains the best tips I can imagine for having Drupal and Filemaker talk to each other. And thank you Andy Chase for writing it.

I am running a Filemaker Pro 6 server over here so I can take advantage of web companion. Can anyone please show me how to show filemaker data in drupal?

This group is exactly what I'm looking for. I have just spoken with a client who does all of their data management through filemaker. The company now wants to use drupal as their online shop, pulling the data out of their filemaker database and into drupal. I watched drupalcon 2008's "Using Drupal with External Data Sources" which gave me a start, but I am really not sure where to go from here and how to get FM and drupal linked up. Are there other resources? modules? anything in the works in this group?

I'm very happy with ORM database structure in FM -> it is logical and easy for understanding.
Also FM has excellent way to view/search/edit such database thru computer/iPad/iPhone
But web part of FM is really bad.
That's why I want to keep all my informational tabels in FM database (on MySQL server, accessable thru ODBC) and D7 to view/search them ?
Please help !!!
