Hi all, I'm decidedly not in Atlanta, but I'll be coming to Atlanta for the United States Social Forum– a regional edition of the World Social Forum just held in Nairobi, Kenya, and that started in Porto Alegre, Brazil, as a counterweight to the elite invite-only World Economic Forum.
The USSF site is being developed in Drupal by volunteers around the country, especially NYC (I'm in Boston but haven't helped much).
I just remembered that on the agenda for this Sunday is how to do outreach, so maybe I'm stepping on some principle of cooperative work with this invite, but a very useful voice for that meeting would be a tech person in Atlanta, so please just jump in or contact me if at all interested.
