We will have a CiviCRM sprint from Monday, December 3rd to Wednesday, December 5th in Toronto. The idea is to have as many community members present as possible so we can make good progress on writing code, improving the books and having a good time! We're making a special push to polish the new Accounting Integration improvements coming out in CiviCRM v. 4.3.
CiviCRM has good integration with a number of Drupal's main systems, including views, roles, actions, webform, migrate, etc. Many of the best ideas for improving CiviCRM have developed out of sprints. Successful Drupal development patterns like hooks, and ecosystem approaches like user contributed modules (aka CMS-agnostic extensions in CiviCRM) have been taken up by CiviCRM.
