What happens when you throw a poor sysadmin who has never done web design before into the deep end of implementing a major Drupal project at work? Hilarity? Chaos? Tears? All of the above, and also some observations and lessons one such "Drupal outsider" learned about Drupal, its technical infrastructure, its community, and its health as a free software project.
NOTE: The original target audience for this talk were members of a local Linux Users Group, many of whom had no previous Drupal experience. If you have worked on any mid-sized Drupal implementation, you already know the contents of his talk -- but it might serve as a nostalgic reminder of your early Drupal experiences.
