The Drupal Gold Coast November meetup is coming up next week. Join us with your Drupal questions, new members most welcome!

Our main topic this month will be our charity site we're developing as a group. This is a great opportunity to cover Drupal development techniques, gives us a nice volunteer project, and spreads the Drupal love! Pantheon has graciously given us free hosting, and we're well on the way to finding a charity in need of a site. More info at http://drupalgoldcoast.com/dgc/node/98

As usual the floor will be open for anyone to share a presentation, a screencast or Q&A.

When:
Tuesday, October 20, 2012
19:00 - 21:00

Where:
Level One OntheNet Building
165 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes, Australia

Thanks again to OnTheNet for providing the room and their continued support of Drupal.

Call for a charity in need of a site!

Nice to see everyone this evening including a couple new faces. Topics ranged around Drupal 8, Aegir, Pantheon and Features.

A quick shoutout to anyone who knows a Aus charity in need of a site? As a group we're looking to build a site for a charity in need of a new, or updated website. Several of us have volunteered our time, and we've already teed up free hosting with the great folks at Pantheon. However we're having trouble finding a charity in need of a site. So if anyone knows of a charity (ideally Gold Coast based but Australia wide as well) in need of a site please do get in touch here or over at http://drupalgoldcoast.com/dgc/node/98

See everyone next month, remember to bring along some snacks and drinks to celebrate the upcoming holidays!
