Registration for Bay Area Drupal Camp 2009 is now open at http://badcamp.net/register

BADCamp will be held with October 17th and 18th, in the brand new Sutardja Dai Hall at UC Berkeley. BADCamp is a free, community-powered gathering, where we come together to share our experience and enthusiasm about Drupal, an open-source content management system that is powering more and more of the web every year. BADCamp is open to everyone, at any skill level.

BADCamp is built by and for the local community. After you register for the event, please sign up to offer a session at http://www.badcamp.net/sessions (by Monday Sept 28th) or sign up to help out in other ways at http://www.badcamp.net/volunteer-badcamp. You can also help out, and gain visibility for your company, by sponsoring BADCamp at http://www.badcamp.net/sponsors. Sponsoring also gives you the opportunity to have a table at the Job Fair. Sponsorship money will go to pay for supplies, food and the Saturday night party.

This is the third annual Bay Area Drupal Camp held at UC Berkeley. Each year has been a huge success, with over 250 attendees last fall, and we expect more this year. The San Francisco Bay Area is an exciting place to be working on Drupal right now, with active groups in Berkeley, San Francisco, Sacramento and Santa Cruz, and DrupalCon coming to SF in 2010.

See you all there!

Videotaping?

myownsummer's picture

I was going through the possible sessions at BADCamp, and I found that I would be interested in many of them. Now, it's highly likely that i will miss some of these since they would pretty much run in parallel. Can we have an arrangement to videotape some/all of the sessions?

Thanks.

There isn't going to be any "official" videotaping, but I think it is great if attendees want to organize something.

Videotaping Sessions

Hi,

I have video production equipment available if someone would like to make use of it to tape sessions.

I can tape some, maybe

Thats great.
I could help tape some of the sessions that I attend (with the permission of the speaker, of course).
Thoughts?

BADCamp Videotaping

Ofer Morag's picture

Hi,

MOS - I can provide up to two video camera kits (batteries, tripods, etc.) and check them in with some one to manage for the day. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, then let's meet up on Saturday morning.

Tao, et al. - If interested I can also try to gather a few more video kits to get some additional speaker coverage.

I have an editing suite, so I can edit the raw footage and deliver flash video files for you to upload to BADCamp.net or an alternate source of distribution.

I'm open,

Ofer Morag

My congratulations to everyone involved with putting together BADCamp 2009.
The sessions were well done and informative, and the breaks in the schedule worked well for networking.
