Really cool video of last night's Boston Drupal Group meetup

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

The video from last night's meetup
is online. I spent the night trying to doctor my own contribution into coherence, to no avail, but the technology works like a charm. Full list of presenters below. Be sure to check out the controls on the right side of the screen -- that's the secret sauce.

00.00 Nancy - Filtering content by anonymous user's time zone.
06.00 Ron - Developer recruitment for planned Drupal implementation in City of Malden.
29:20 Micky - Introducing http://drupalroommates.com/, roommate-finding site for Drupaleros worldwide to find each other.
34.00 Nik - Concept for building Drupal sites with a single content type.
53.00 Mark - Announcement about Western Mass Drupal Camp (Jan 19, http://drupalcampma.com/) and carpooling offer
57.00 Fernando (http://develcuy.com/) - Services and OAuth modules.
1.00:00 Donny -- Files uploaded from users need to be available across all instances on Amazon RDS platform under load balancing.
1.16:00 Mike - "Module-Off Challenge" (http://moduleoff.com/), contest for module development and screencasting.

Thanks Ed, great job. I was unable to attend last night's meetup and am looking forward to watching the video. The meetups are very valuable learning experiences.

Really?

Thanks, Ed. But couldn't you have done something to make me look prettier?

I hear you

I hear you Nancy. If I hear even a snippet of my voice I have to check into Kripalu for a silent retreat. The combination of voice and visual is inclining me to McLeans. But just remember, when people smile back at you and ask a lot of good questions, that means you're doing something right.

Great job Ed!

Except for the beer and pheromones, it was just like being there. It's not only saving me hassle, but the planet CO2 and will be a good advert for folks who live closer and have always wondered whether the meetings would work for them. Actually watching it made me kinda regret not driving in.
