Happy New Year everyone! Hope the new year has started well for you all.
We are meeting in the usual location - Irish Murphys in the city from 7-9pm. Great location as food and drinks are literally outside the door.
The meeting room is upstairs to the left of the stairs behind the door. The room has a projector for the speeches and is shielded from most of the downstairs noise which is great!
As discussed last meetup we have created a meetup.com group http://www.meetup.com/Drupal-Brisbane to attract people who haven't found their way to us before.
Currently looking for anyone interested in presenting during the meet-up. Further information about schedule etc will be posted in the coming days!

Details for new folk...
I see a few folk who may be coming for the first time. Couple of things that might help:-
- in this pub when you go upstairs there is another small set of three or four stairs that leads to our meeting room - the glass door will possibly be closed in order to keep the noise out - but charge on in.
- you are likely to want to buy a drink at the bar before you come in;
- many participants like to also order a meal from the bar - just let the bar staff know you are in the Drupal meeting and they will bring your meal up to our room when it is ready. (The back of the menu has a list of $15 specials including steak, pizza, parmies etc.)
