Drupal LDAP

Salam Dear,

  1. Install LDAP module
  2. After installation, you need to create LDAP server(s) on module configuration page (admin/config/people/ldap/servers). For each server configuration you need to know the following information of your Directory Server.
    a) Directory Server domain name or IP address.
    b) Port
    c) Base DN
    d) AuthName attribute (for Open LDAP it is cn while for Active Directory it is sAMAccountName)

  3. After adding a server go to admin/config/people/ldap/servers. You will see your server and a test link in front of it. On test page you can test your connection with LDAP by providing any LDAP username and password.

I have used the above and it is working for me.

Thank you for much for

Please check your Server name+port. I have tested your server using port 389. But server is not responding.

You can also test using "LDAP Admin" (a tool used for connecting to LDAP from remote).

Thanks again for reply. The
