By the numbers: How do the Big Boys run their companies.
As companies grow, they get more complex. Executives must learn how to manage “by the numbers” and delegate to others in the company. All three sessions are designed to build on each other so participants can leave with some powerful, actionable building blocks to help them run their companies more effectively and efficiently. This is not “theory,” these are hands-on discussions, so bring your finances, payroll numbers and all your questions.
This will be an all day workshop running from 9:00am - 5:00pm with a break for keynote speaker and lunch from 11:00am-1:00pm. Speaker Peter O'Sullivan brings with him years of change management, Six Sigma, and organizational development with first-hand knowledge of Drupal companies to this workshop.
Session 1: Financial Analysis - How to see the entire picture

Many founding executives start a company because they have a passion to a market – not because they are financial experts. In this session, we’ll look at how to read a Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets like a pro and demystify Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and show you how to use your numbers to motivate and excite your team and foster a culture of performance.
Session 2: Leadership & Vision - How to engage your employees
Friday January 25 1:00pm – 3:00pm
The terms “Leadership” and “Vision” get tossed around all the time. Every executive knows they need it – but just what is Leadership? And why is having a Vision so critical to success? In this session, we will define Leadership in straightforward terms. And help everyone to understand how a company’s vision gets tied to moral, marketing and sales. There are working excises and actionable take-aways.
Session 3: Goals setting & the Reward System - How to you get employees to work to company goals
Friday January 25 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Now that you have your numbers and your focus – how to you corral the cats (employees)? By providing measurable feedback (the numbers) and a path (Vision & Leadership), you need now to get your team onboard. The final session is all about what rewards are needed and how to put them in place so employees feel ownership and are engaged.
