I have some work that needs to be done around the Media Browser and I could either use some assistance, or direction from others experience on the site I am working on. I am happy to hire out the work if you know what you are doing and get it kicked back out quickly.
The Need:
The website adds content through a media browser that can search through directories as configured and then place them inline where needed. This media already exists and just needs to be grabbed and shown in the browser.
If you have ideas, please share.
If you have time to do the work, get back to me through my email at darren at oddencreativemedia dot com
Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand
I'm not sure I understand exactly what your needs are, but you can use either the Feeds or Migrate modules to import files into the media ecosystem. You could do this periodically, if needed. Once the files are in the system, you can use the Media browser (or a view of your own choice) to present the files to your visitors.

Let me try again...
I have all the files on the system already. I installed media and media browser so that the user of the system can browse through the files and place them in to the articles. Thumbnails should be displayed and the image should get placed into the article. This is the way things have always worked.
What is happening is that the images might get read, or might not and some of the images are able to get into the articles. It is like the media browser is not really keeping up with the images on the system. This does not seem to be happening correctly.
I would be happy to show you the install so you can see it. Basically, I have a lot of big items I am working on this site and would like someone to look over what has been done and point out the problem child or fix the issue so I can concentrate on the the modules that need to be written.
Give me a call or an email
Give me a call or an email this afternoon and I'll try to help: darrylri@exmsft.com or 831-475-1339.
