50% of mobile phones world wide being purchased now are smart phones. This was 33% a year back.
of the 50% smart phones 74% carry android.
Smart Phones sell 3 times more than PCs(tablets exluded)
Future is going to be mobile. I think drupal needs a complete revolution

Based on the info from her 2012 report, I pivoted away from wintels and began to take android very seriously as a mobile design priority.
The only problem I have with the data on Android is that in the US it has yet to pass the smell test. Every time I board a train, plane or bus, I still see 90% of the texter/browsers using iPhones. The only people I know who use Android phones are the geeks. However, I'm sure that will change within the year.
