The Drupal.LA website has been launched, but much more can be done.
What we can get from Drupal.LA
- A marketing website for our active and growing user group
- Hands on experience with site building, theming, development, version control, etc.
- Whenever we learn something, we can share it with the rest of the group. Drupal.LA gives us plenty of fun presentation material for our meetups

Feature wishlist
- Event listing and calendar (importing iCal feeds from Drupal Groups has been proposed, as has embedding an HTML calendar from another source such as Google Calendar or Meetup.com)
- Newsletter signup block for our MailChimp mailing list
- Hosting our conference websites in subdirectories instead of their own domains and virtual hosts (this is better for SEO and cheaper in terms of fewer domain registrations and SSL certs)
- Sandboxing / archiving old conference websites, such as DDCLA 2011 & 2012.
- Inventory check-in / check-out
- Blog aggregator that submits to Planet - https://drupal.org/node/2157191 is a dependency
- Podcast
- Individual member spotlight
