It's time once again for Drupal Mapping Open Office hours, where the Drupal mapping community gets together and discuss ongoing issues/awesomeness of making maps with Drupal.
Open Office Hours will be July 18th, 2013 at 18:00 UTC.
Location: IRC. We'll be hanging out on #drupal-geo. New to IRC? Check out the Drupal.org guide on setting up and connecting to IRC. Also, we're going to try out a Google Hangout for open discussions. I'll post a link both in a comment here and in IRC when we're ready to broadcast.

I'm out...
Guys,
Today ended up in a late night and tomorrow is an early morning. The meeting is at 4am Australian time, so too hard for me, on this occasion.
May I suggest one topic for the meeting...: DrupalCon Prague and Maps...
Would you please consider being an attendee/expert for this Prague Lab session https://prague2013.drupal.org/session/map-lab-best
I know dasjo & ifrik & batje have since launched a session of their own, but that doesn't mean they or you can't be on The Lab as well!
Cheers,
Rik
DrupalCon session and lab
Sorry Rik,
I knew I had forgotten something.
I discussed the submitting a Maps session with dasjo and some other on IRC and he proposed to see session, lab and contribe sprint as a package: https://prague2013.drupal.org/session/maps-openlayers-leaflet-and-beyond...
I would be happy to be on the lab as well, mainly helping with building maps with OpenLayers.

Have added you to the list of mentors
Ok ifrik, welcome on board: see https://prague2013.drupal.org/session/map-lab-best
Rik
hey folks, as discussed on
hey folks,
as discussed on IRC, it would be great if both session + lab would get accepted, so we could do
(a) session to show you what you can do with maps and where to start
(b) lab to actually create maps
(c) sprint with the community geo-modules
i think with 3 speakers we are mostly set for the session.
as rik points out, as many helping hands as possible for the lab would be great so we can mentor people.
same goes for the sprint + i'd love to see somebody help us with organizing the sprint.
note, that i just found out that you can already propose sprints, but they don't seem to get listed yet. anyways i took the chance and proposed our mapping sprint:
https://prague2013.drupal.org/sprints/mapping-sprint-improve-geo-contrib...
i hope we can get all 3 items accepted and timed well after each other :)
regards,
dasjo
